Big global systems shape daily life in ways that are easy to miss. The flow of investment, the price of a harvest, the way a country powers itself, how biodiversity loss impacts local communities: these are influenced by forces that feel distant, yet they reach right into farms, households, and rural communities. This seminar brings together researchers working on Mexico to follow those connections, from the places where large decisions are made to the places where people live with the results.
