The discussion with the curator, writer, art critic and historian Gerardo Mosquera (Havana) focusses on the definition of Latin American art and the Latin American identity. In his essays, Gerardo Mosquera revisits these categories and reflects on how Latin American art has been included in the global art circuits, warning about the dangers of using fixed categories that might lead to a self-exoticism.
